Ross Marchesano is the owner of SportsFit Athletes Performance Academy in Dundas.
Ross’s main focus is child & youth fitness and athletic training for elite and rep athletes in any sport.
Ross is a former professional athlete playing American football in Australia, Canada & the United States from 1991 – 2011.
Ross furthered his education by becoming a registered massage therapist in 1999, a sports strength and conditioning coach in 2003 and is still furthering his education by studying Osteopathic medicine.
Ross is also a level 3 football coach. Coaching kids from age 9 to 18 in Australia for the New South Wales Junior Gridiron League in 1992 – 1994.
Was the head coach in the Twin Cities Minor Football Assoc in Kitchener from 2000 – 2002. Ross was the head coach of the Ontario Jr. Varsity Football League team in the Cambridge Minor Football Assoc, 2002 – 2005.
Ross was the offensive co ordinator of the Tricity Thunder, a semi professional American football team in the North American Football League 2006 & 2007 and a running back coach for Team Ontario in 2004 & 2005.
Ross also played baseball through out his youth for West Mountain, Ancaster and finishing with the Hamilton Cardinals as their center fielder back in the late 1980’s. Ross has a passion and a gift for teaching kids athletic based sports skills, field speed and lifestyle fitness conditioning.
